As someone who has hired many people in healthcare, very frankly, anyone who ghosts like this can fucking go to hell. This would extend a position being open sometimes by another month or two and only causes stress for everyone. It’s unprofessional as fuck
I’m not in HR, I’m a clinical manager. I’ve literally never fired someone via text message. I can count the number of people I’ve fired over 15 years on one hand, and they all saw it coming months in advance and had many opportunities to improve. All employers are not equal
