Oddly enough, I’d say yes.
When you can’t walk into a Taco Bell without spending $20, in a world where people are living out of their cars and the minimum wage remains at $7 an hour, it’s hard to argue otherwise. It wasn’t that long ago that you could pop in to a Subway, or a Taco Bell, or a McDonald’s and get whole-ass meal for $5. (A crappy one, to be true, but still a meal.)
I remember when Wendy’s had the 4 for $4.
You got a double cheeseburger, small fries, 4 nuggets and a small drink.
You could upgrade the fries and drink for less than $2 to large.
eyup. nowadays for me splurging is buying a named brand soda.
