It hasn’t been this way for ever it’s slowly getting worse as the republicans accelerate the shittiness and democrats do what they can to make it better when they have power.
Outside of a short blip around the new deal. This is more or less how it’s been. Our government’s meddling through much of South America whether it’s Panama the Dole Corporation or Ford(landia). Or our government’s Middle East meddling. It’s all at the behest of corrupt businesses and robber barons.
Where isnt a safespace for corruption? Only places i can imagine is NK or China because corruption = stealing from dictator = dead
