He doesn’t want a deal. Never did. He wasted Canada’s time on purpose. He’s starting a war.
You’re acting like this guy is capable of planning more than 15 minutes ahead. He can’t, that’s all his working memory can hold these days.
It’s silly to think these are the acts of just one man. He holds a grudge too, and he’s riled up the masses who, immediately, seem pretty onboard against Canada.
I can assure you the vast majority of people in the USA don’t want a war with Canada. Any voices you are seeing stating otherwise are massively amplified by oligarchs and don’t represent reality on the ground.
