There’s a pretty good chance that user will, in the same breath, go: Jefferson bad, Stalin good. Because authoritarians and genocides perpetrated by entities pretending to be communist are somehow excusable.

Edit: I rest my case. You’ll notice their immediate jump to whataboutism, strawman arguments, and childish demands for you to research why their “nuh uh” is wrong.

This guy must have something wrong with them.

This comment is literally whataboutism, they clearly don’t understand what a straw an argument is, and the childish demands are us simply asking for him to explain himself.

      What a joke, lol.

Genocidal slavers like Jefferson are, indeed, bad.
Not sure why a person took part in massively improving the rights and living conditions of the working class and fighting against the original nazis should be considered bad in comparison with enthusiastic slavers.

Just admit it - you only said that because you have been bombarded your whole life with propaganda about how the most vile polity in the world is somehow good, while Stalin is somehow bad for some reason.

Two things can both be bad. This is what you mls never seem to grasp.

And It’s not for some reason. He killed so many people. No one can take you seriously when you praise a monster like Stalin.

They can, but they aren’t in this case.

And It’s not for some reason. He killed so many people.

Killing nazis is not a bad thing, actually. Nor were they ‘his own people’.

No one can take you seriously when you praise a monster like Stalin.

You are yet to actually explain why he is supposedly such a ‘monster’. Just admit that your sole source of information on Stalin has been memes from the same people that sold you on Iraq’s WMDs.
And no, again, killing nazis is not a bad thing.

You never answered the question. You don’t think that he did good by saving Europe from Nazi extermination?

The second thing: You mean the last famine that ever happened in a famine prone region, lol?

I gave a flippant comment about how absurd ml delusions are and you, who were not part of the conversation, decided to step in and prove me right by demanding answers to questions defending your genocidal hero as if it’s remotely relevant to the actual thread.

What is so absurd about not liking genocidal slavers and liking people who fought against that?
If you think that Stalin is so bad, why can’t you point to the reasons why he should be considered so?

Weirdly enough, no actual experts on these topic can point to any supposed genocide that he committed. The only people who assert so are the ones who get their knowledge of history from unsubstantiated memes.
