Finally getting around to watching Frieren. So far it’s phenomenal, and depending on how it goes it could end up being one of my favorite anime ever.
I don’t want to be the kind of person who gets a diagnosis and suddenly views the whole world through the lens of autistic vs non autistic. There’s plenty of fictional characters who are just a bit socially awkward, dense, cold, eccentric, aloof, hyperfocused, whatever you want to call it, and that does not mean they are supposed to portray autism. But watching Frieren so much of her character just… Hits.
