The art is really good. The proportions appear a little off, but nothing major. Mostly the mouth looks a little low. But this is only something I really noticed once I read “Critiques and all that welcome”.

I’ve read that Robert Henri, who was a major influence in the art world mentioned that he hated purpose made things like sketchbooks and that real artists painted/drew with whatever was in reach. He obviously had a more eloquent way of saying that, and it included things you’d find in a cafe, but I think the point still stands.

It’s really good, but the mouth is kinda confusing to me. Not sure if her mouth is open or maybe she has black lipstick on just part of her bottom lip?
