I say this all the time! I use it to try to discredit conservatives when they make up reasons why we can’t have good things. Like, look, you love the library, and you know conservatives would make up all sorts of reasons why it couldn’t ever work. If libraries didn’t already exist, to people in the USA they’d sound like some kind of socialist fever dream.
