20TF living in Shinjuku since last summer, looking to make friends and meet people :)

i turned my apartment into a hangout spot with a bunch of stuff:

  • full size touchscreen dart machine
  • DAM karaoke machine with a proper mic setup
  • truck sim rig with wheel, pedals and monitor
  • a Sunmi kiosk where you can play games and print custom memes/gifs on a receipt printer
  • a BLÅHAJ pit (400 shark plushies) with ocean wave projectors, sound effects and an OLED tv

i found security vulnerabilities in Red Bull and Tom Holland’s beer company, reported them responsibly, and they hooked me up as a thank you. 15 cases of Red Bull and 20 cases of Tom Holland’s NA beer which is honestly great for cocktails. i also do this kind of work full time as a security researcher, you might have seen some of my stuff in the news for hacking FIFA, McDonald’s, Frontier Airlines, the Pope’s prayer app, and a bunch of others

im pansexual, trans, self employed in cybersecurity, and free basically all the time. very much a people person and honestly pretty lonely here, so id love to meet cool folks for friendship, dates, events, whatever

i love tech, programming, animals, nature, musicals, baking, hiking, gaming, clarinet, cocktail mixing, geocaching, record collecting, and crime documentaries. music taste is Tally Hall, Will Wood, classic rock and metal. you can also watch me hack live if you’re into that lol

based in Shinjuku, happy to grab a drink or food nearby and see if we vibe. open any day, any time

looking to connect with women, trans folks, and non-binary people. thanks for respecting that <3

I don’t remember the last time I talked to a man outside of a retail transaction or as a mandatory course of my duties at work.

Basically, I think I just don’t voluntarily talk to men in general.

i’ve had countless bad experiences with cis men, they are usually very creepy in my experience, i’d appriciate if people respect my boundaries.

There’s literally nothing weird about a woman preferring to avoid the demographic that routinely harasses, stalks, threatens, and assaults women. I have known so many women who thought their male friend was safe only to be assaulted when they’re alone and at their most vulnerable.

Its not like all men are creeps, but the overwhelming majority if creeps are men. And its made infinitely worse by the fact that a cis man’s word will almost always be taken over a woman’s in cases where a man aggresses against a woman.

Leaving this comment up because I think the dialog that came up about it was good.

Members of marginalized communities are not weird if they prefer the company of other community members and feel hesistance or discomfort about members of the classes that oppress them. It is a question of safety and exposing oneself to danger.

people can choose who they want to spend time with. imagine your friend offered you to hook you up with another person who’s currently single and looking for a partner, but you know up front that you’re not gonna be into them. do you still go there? idk, i probably wouldn’t; or only if i have too much time on my hands (which i don’t have).
