I’ve been told I have a voice that people listen to. So, I use it when given the chance. This was a neighborhood brewery in the deep south. People here are polite and will engage. I feel it’s important to at least register my existence as someone passibly literate and semi- informed

Nope. But i worked for a retail job after high school where we had to help customers, and they were usually happy i was helping them, so that taught me to be a little more comfortable talking to strangers in certain situations.

I avoid them by not going to bars lol. If i am at a bar anyway talking to the bartender is one of the hardest parts. They’re always so busy
