    Is there an option to make the app check for updates and download automatically in the background while on WiFi? I’m on iOS if there is a difference. I have ”automatic download” toggled but I still have to update manually.

      currently the automatic download is not maps you haven’t downloaded at all yet - but we hope to make an opt-in automatic map update check going forward!

      There is currently no automatic update available, the feature request is tracked here.

      The “automatic download” is somewhat confusing, it makes the app download the missing the maps when you zoom in to areas you have not downloaded yet.
