What I find sad is that these ads can make a difference. People should have already researched the candidates and their positions and know who they’re going to vote for.

Also China banning all american social media was the greatest decision they have ever made.
Assuming Lula wins reelection one of the principal concerns of the country’s national security interests should be banning U.S.-owned social media companies.
At this point, there is a good chance the US would do what they did in Venezuela if Lula wins.
I find unlikely, Lula is way more respected in the liberal “democracies” than Maduro. Not the Trump cares about but I think most of the staff could oppose this shit.
i doubt it would be something like venezuela, but they WILL intervene somehow if lula wins. they aren’t being too subtle about it.
lula has commented on it, and the lawfare has already begun. the alternative media is already saying it. even us democrats.
They will probably go with Guaidó/Machado route before doing the extra shit.
bolsonaro is their machado in brazil. there’s always the rest of the treacherous military leadership to help them out if they fail, and i doubt lula can fix it.

The problem with bringing up Cambridge Analytica is that 1) their schemes were found not to be effective and 2) it feeds BlueAnon conspiracy theories.
