      Nah, fuck it, completely nuke the club. The old real fans can make an FC City of Manchester to match up with FC United of Manchester if they care enough. The entire institution of Manchester City FC and the City Footballing Group as a whole should be completely wiped from modern history and football as a whole.

        I suspect the cheating bastards are toast either way. If the league doesn’t fine them and dock a huge amount of points, the incoming lawsuits will ruin them anyway.

    Never thought I’d see this. Part of me still thinks they’ll wriggle out of this but it doesn’t make logical sense to me any more. If the PL wanted to be lenient we shouldn’t have arrived at this point. This could be huge yet.

      900 million pounds. I mean I knew it was probably a lot but that number is so so so so so massive and the PL have put out such a strong statement here that I don’t see any way out of this besides the complete destruction of Manchester City.

        It’s absolutely absurd. Especially when you look at the amounts the clubs are limited to while the “big 6” keep spunking money left and right.

      I’m pessimistic as well but since they’ve between found guilty by the league and independent council and if they aren’t punished then the rules don’t apply to anyone. Maybe the league doesn’t handle a huge punishment but every club for 15 years can Take a piece of their revenue or profit or funds or whatever.
