For those who don’t remember Star Trek: Voyager, Season 4, Episode 13.

Tap for spoiler

It’s the episode where evil aliens probably inspired by Freddy Krueger force you to fall asleep and invade your dreams. The Voyager crew all share a collective dream in which the aliens control.

This one scared me as a kid. Revisisting it as an adult, I think it’s more cool than anything. Not really scary and at times funny. Y’all liked this one? It’s a neat episode.

I always liked this one. It’s probably a top three Chakotay episode for me, not that that’s saying a lot. I always love the trope of “not sure if this is the top level of reality” like TNG’s Frame of Mind.

My memories of this one are pretty fuzzy - looking at Memory Alpha, elements of it are ringing bells, mainly the recurring moon that Chakotay uses to remember he’s dreaming.

    It’s a neat episode.

I can get behind this sentiment. I don’t think it’s outstanding, but it’s unique and does some things we don’t typically see.
