Are you sure you have thought this through?It is that, language can be pixels, hell we used knitting for codes in the past. It seems like your definition needs to be looked at. I mean there are tribes that used notched wood to write (and also map). So while it seems uncomfortable to you to use the term like this, it is indeed what it is. And even if not, you wanna use the word intelligence instead while referring to the thing you just described??

Also, it makes people not using those terms do so with a slight amount of caution. They don’t necessarily want to be pooitical when talking about non political things and it creates a division by which word you choose. The point is to make people second guess the language they choose and be more careful about using normal safe language, so suppressing more radical language is a given.
