Once you get past the cute framing (“pineapple on pizza: you either love it or hate it, but know Italians see it as an affront, right?”), this looks like a stalking horse to legitimise the idea of “religious freedom” rights, like those of pharmacists to refuse to sell birth control.

Not sure why this is in World News. Not long back, I tried a pizza with pineapple and pepperoni toppings. It was good! Apologies to the Italians who may feel it is sacrilege!
