I see a lot of people complaining that the Fairphone 6 doesn’t have an Aux jack.

Just use an adapter cable.

A 3.5mm Aux jack takes up a significant amount of space just to connect a few wires that could be connected through USB-C anyway, that space could be used for a bigger battery.

Even if there was a good enough reason to keep Aux it should be 2.5mm Aux and not the usual 3.5 as it does exactly the same thing but uses less space

Modern wires aren’t a hassle though, unless you live in one of those black and white infomercials. Buying and carrying around extra devices is.

Don’t know, I hate them bouncing on me and getting tangled in thing. Going to the gym or running or climbing/bouldering with wires is a recipie for getting your wire tabgled and ripped off you.

If youre just walking or sitting, sure, wire is not a hassle.

Also, hearing/seeing something at a PC and going somewhere without the need of stopping the video/music and still hearing (say, while you get smth from the kitchen) is very pratical.

                1. The old ways are perhaps forgotten. To prevent catching in general, especially in say a gym, one just tucks the wire under the shirt.

                2. PC uses nice wired bookshelf speakers, which beat most headphones, wired or wireless.
