As someone that works in the digital area within the NHS I can tell you this is:

A) fucking scary B) happening too often C) been called out on a number of occasions but GPs don’t fucking listen

my most recent visit the Dr asked me if it was ok to use AI. I asked them not to. they said it’s just for note taking and they might have errors in the notes. I responded by pointing out AI regularly hallucinates characters and fictitious stories all the time.

they listened and took notes but I wondered how long before they just stop asking.
