      It is genuinely sad that they haven’t brought GOG Galaxy to Linux. Thankfully unlike Steam, GOG being DRM-free means I get a choice in having their launcher on my desktop, but I’d bet (especially with an exodus from Windows of people who aren’t as techy) a lot of people would like that convenience.

    Fortunately, steam can have a lower priority on switching due to it being privately owned. No stocks, no shareholders, and no ‘number must infinitely go up’ bullshit.
    Still, got my fingers crossed that gog can use this to grow and become the first equal competitor to steam. No, epic doesn’t count, they have publicly traded stock.

      I’m also fairly certain that steam is Anti-Trump/Anti-Fascism and keeping DEI policies

        thats nice and all but no official client? linux is the epitome of their drm-free philosophy.
