USC law students have set up a hotline to help move immigrants move their in-person hearing to online format, reducing the risk of getting kidnapped.

That is great and could help slow these deportations, but the judges might might start refusing to hold the trials online.

Trump has instructed immigration judges, who all work for the executive branch, to quickly dismiss all immigration cases when requested. If he can do that, he can probably order them to only have in person cases.

It feels so pedantic at this point but these shit gibbons look like they bought vests and plate carriers on Amazon and now get to RP as cops. And for some reason this is allowed? This makes the federal government look like a bunch of kids just attacking people indiscriminately.

And for some reason this is allowed?

Well, no one has stopped them, so yes that makes it allowed, I guess.

This makes the federal government look like a bunch of kids just attacking people indiscriminately.

Oh no, I assure you, they are very discriminating in choosing their targets.

Almost like discrimination is the point.

SF isn’t behaving like the rest.

Several San Francisco police officers, who had gathered at the immigration courthouse earlier that morning, walked behind the group.

An SFPD officer stood by and watched from a distance.

That second sentence deserves its full context

Another uniformed ICE agent stepped out of an unmarked police van at 11:53 a.m. and pointed a matte black rifle at protestors and press, including this reporter, screaming “Get the fuck back!” An SFPD officer stood by and watched from a distance.
