The first 6-12 months here (during/right after the Reddit API drama) were great. After that…not so much.

      I don’t even know how to block an instance, but even if I did, idk if I like the idea of just nuking that much content in one swoop.

      Also would that block posts from users of that instance in other instances (like if one of them posted in this comment chain)? I have nothing against the folks who do enjoy that stuff - I don’t want to see the furry crap in my feed, but someone from a furry instance posting non-furry crap elsewhere is fine.

        No, just the posts, I don’t think you have the ability to block comments from one instance.

        And if an entire instance is dedicated to NSFW content, the chances of missing something good are slim to none.

        I use Boost, I’m not sure if it’s an app feature or a platform feature.
