Ok wait though, I have been programmed to be terrified of China at a kneejerk level so if China did a better job at disaster response to a natural disasters doesn’t that mean I should be terrified of a governmental capacity to save lives during a natural disaster?

I think the only thing I can conclude in my US imperialist chauvinism is that emergency natural disaster response clearly needs to be privatized.
