When recently onboarding for a new job I heard something I never thought I would hear in my life.

Everyone was given a Mac. Eng, design, finance, HR. Everyone. In my onboarding cohort, someone in finance asked if they could have a Windows PC, which has been the backbone of finance orgs for decades. IT said no. They just didn’t want to deal with Microsoft’s enterprise ecosystem.

Now that I think about it, Megan Kelly does look like that one hot teacher in your school district who eventually gets hauled away for banging a high school student.

Sounds like he probably thought he got food poisoning or a stomach flu when the symptoms first appeared. The two weeks later, when we had red meat again, it killed him.

Anyone who’s read even a little bit about the American colonies and the American revolution knows that the founders were NOT cool with state religion. The Church of England was being used a tool of tyranny, and America’s foundered did not want to recreate that system.

Are you working for the government?

I don’t see why you would do that job if know you’re going to frequently go for weeks / months without pay once every year or two, you’re constantly understaffed, and you’re working like this in 2025…

Don’t forget about the disabled and elderly.

I know some folks with severe degenerative diseases and no family to help. They spend their money on assistance to get to the damn toilet, but the GOP wants them to “get a job” or to quote New Max’s Rob Schmitt, stop spending money to “get their nails done” and “to get their weaves.”

This is what happens when you elect millionaires and billionaires to represent normal people. They don’t understand the what it’s like to need support, or to be a family that’s trying to work and support someone who is elderly or severely disabled.
