I would normally agree with you, but giving a ton of FBI employees access to review the files for mentions of Trump doesn’t exactly sound like a great way to prevent leaks.
Not to both sides the systematic rape of children but… both sides have major figures who rape children. So a career bureaucrat who gets caught leaking this (and they would) would have poor odds of a pardon and/or promotion by future politicians.

Files are only held by DOJ, which actually has decent data leak protection in place because they needed it long before the current admin.

Counterpoint: They know exactly which docs they DON’T want released, and nobody is allowed to ‘review’ them.
