The film is widely considered Kubrick’s magnum opus, as well as one of the best comedy films and one of the greatest and most influential films ever made.
Quintessential
Although I do deny them my (quint)essence.
Freakin brilliant, fam. This movie nails it repeatedly with no downtime. If this movie gets taken down you would still benefit from finding it and watching it, if only bc it’ll help you catch references when people start talking about foreign policy. If you weren’t around during the cold war you might not get some of the “feel” of it, but it’s still scripted, acted, and shot so beautifully that it’ll be worth your while.
I remember watching it as teenager. A goose bump and abdominal butterflies provoking movie, and not in the good kind…
