Aaron Rodgers faced some criticism for how he handled his offseason, waiting until June to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers after months of speculation and reports that he would land with the storied franchise.
One of his bigger critics just so happened to be a Steelers legend, Terry Bradshaw, who called it a “joke” that Pittsburgh was looking to sign Rodgers.
Rodgers had a chance to address Bradshaw’s remarks on Saturday when speaking with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt during Back Together Weekend from training camp in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Rodgers first barked back with an amusing retort: “Well, I whisper to the gods every single day.”
Then Rodgers explained that Bradshaw simply doesn’t know him well enough on a personal level.
Is there any reasonable person who doesn’t think Aaron Rodgers is a joke at this point?
And yet these teams still sign him. It boggles the mind
Yeah, I don’t get it.
The Steelers must be planning to draft another QB next year and are just trying desperately to sell tickets for this coming season, because Rodgers definitely isn’t someone you plan a future around.
Calling it now for $5. First quarter, first game, he gets rocked by a full size linebacker less than half his age and never plays in a pro game again. Guaranteed salary and set for life, enough CTE to be antivax and have no concerns for anything else.

You can think of Bradshaw as a goofy old man all you want, but he’s still won 4 Super Bowls. Rogers definitely doesn’t know Bradshaw.
