Germany once again on the wrong side of history. This time the side of Zionism.

Not to defend Germany on such an action but any siding with Palestine will immediately be picked up as anti-Semitism. They’ll just get called Nazis by the Israeli government. It is not rational, but I don’t think the Israeli government is!

Maybe they should be a little bit less afraid of being called names and a little bit more afraid of facilitating another genocide.

I’m pretty sure, that Germany, with its history with jews, shouldn’t be the political driving force here

I think this is what happens when you focus more on the history of what the Nazis did to the Jews, rather than what they did to marginalised groups full stop. You end up more worried about being antisemitic than you do about being bigoted fascists.

Think about how little it’s widely talked about of what the Nazis did to the disabled, or trans people, or gay people, or Romani/traveller people.

Thing is, being critical of the Israeli government’s actions isn’t automatically antisemitic. Sure Netanyahu and his criminal gang may want to equate the two, but it’s still BS.

And Germany performing such duties for the Israeli government and acting as the long arm of Netanyahu without any type of critical thought of themselves makes them complicit in this conflict between Israel and Palestine.
