The rule of law presupposes that there are rules that provide a consistent, repeatable, and knowable set of outcomes. That’s no longer the case.

    When there are different laws for the poor than there are for the rich and powerful, you do not have rule of law. You have oppression. The United States has been ruled by the wealthy for my entire life.
