    Remember, every time you talk about gun control, they hit the panic button over “teh registries” being used to infringe upon people’s rights. But a registry to track girls periods and a registry to track autistic people? Nothing to see there, move along.

        I would argue it’s in the preamble.

        We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

    Sounds like something nasty is in store for autistic people. A register like that will be used how? Discrimination, concentration camps, victimisation….?

        I mean that there are a significant number of people who claim to be in various medical minorities, who have no interest in getting a medical diagnosis out of fear that they won’t be in the group.

        I believe a person’s medical history is none of anyone’s business—until they use it as a weapon, and then it’s very suspicious when someone gets upset if asked to back their claim.

        Although, anything they’re doing I’m sure is not for a good reason.

      If this is a quip to say “now those who can, will hide their neuro-divergence to protect themselves , and it will seem like there are fewer” then I agree.

      But I think what you are saying is “now all the fakers will back track! Hahaha gotcha!” Licks boot.

        There are a lot of fakers, or more accurately: incorrect self-diagnosis. If you have respect for people with neurodivergence, you would dislike people who fake it.

        The only boot licker here is the one who loves authoritarianism masquerading as communism.
