    At least some anime is great/good/watchable. Netflix originals are just AI slop (or at least I hope so, because the possibility of ‘Hot Frosty’ and ‘Red One’ being written by actual human beings is concerning and depressing), after all, and depending on your region you might not even have a couple dozen good movies to watch in the platform!

      Netflix is absolutely crap for movies now, the free Pluto tv blows it out of the water as far as movie selection it’s not even a contest. Embarrassing.

    This is surprising given how much anime dropped growing up. But it goes to show how things cycle. Fox, WB, Cartoon Network, Syfy, Nicktoons, G4, all dropped anime until only Adult Swim was barely holding on.
