People value different things as to make a karaoke song “the best”; recognizability for the audience, how easy it is to sing, difficult passages to show off your vocal chops, not getting kicked out of the venue instantly,…

What’s your best metal karaoke song, and why?

The ones I regularly go for

    • Sober - Nanowar of Steel
    • Murmaider - Deathklok
    • We Got The Moves - Electric Callboy

These songs help the digestion by non-metalheads by being very funny. Sometimes I just do a singalong with the official music video (Batmetal Returns for Murmaider) so people have something funny to watch as well.

    Also

    • Bard’s Song: In The Forest - Blind Guardian

But it’s more of a folk song than a metal song.

You Suffer by Napalm Death. It’s good because it’s pretty short, and the lyrics are quite simple.

    Here are some I enjoy:

    • Mother - Danzig
    • Anthrax - Caught in a Mosh (not in a public karaoke venue, too long, but at home or with friends, banger)
    • Sugar - System of a Down
    • Pump It - Electric Callboy

Sort if. I mean, I’m nowhere near the vocalist Serj is. Not even close. But I give it all the emotion and enthusiasm it deserves. love that song. Singing it is so cathartic

Black Sabbath’s Paranoid. Easy to get into to, gives room for your vocals to find their own way into loud territory, and it’ll almost always sound awesome.

Fucking easy. If you got the pipes for it, the correct answer is

    Bloodbath - Eaten

If you can get the low guttural “eaten…” And get the responses while keeping your breath, You’ll get the whole crowd in.
