I could practically feel the warm summer evening air on my skin when I took this shot- the sense of realism you get from the nature in this game is something else. Thank you crunching Rockstar devs who never got to see your children for your sacrifice

Also this shit came out on the PS4, further proof that we didn’t need this newest console generation or these past few batches of overpriced GPUs that catch on fire and need additional support inside the case because they draw so much power and have bloated to such monstrous sizes

my favorite detail of the game that i’ve seen basically no one talk about is that every single page of arthur’s journal is handwritten by someone, in a quite consistent and uncommon font. if you look carefully, you’ll notice that no appearance of any particular letter is ever quite the same.

When Arthur got the you know what, I took a break from the story and just wandered the map letting the dude vacation across the country, looking at all the odd landmarks and sketching them down, helping strangers, hunting down klansmen, fish for sport, etc. Just to let the poor guy have a taste of a life free from the old life he knew before the final ride. I enjoyed helping him fill his journal with drawings of everything he saw, the land and the animals that lived on it. Filled the damn thing up so much there wasn’t anything John could put in except for the areas of New Austin and West Elizabeth.
