I would argue that the biking and camping are even better in the fall! The trails are better lit with less trees, sweating doesn’t suck as bad, the campfire is nice and warm, the sun goes down at a reasonable time for bed, and how good is hot coffee and the rebuilt fire in the morning!?
I always get bummed out in fall. Lack of biking/camping, darker, colder nights, and SAD. I miss swimming :(
Plus, 20 ish years of associating fall with going back to school, haha.

Depends on where you are, they get very rainy and wet here! Riding is frowned upon once it’s muddy since it braids the trails.
Summer is the only season I don’t camp in, unless I can do it in VERY high elevation where the temps are cooler. Fall begins nine months of camping!
