I can never tell if people get the point of the satire of super earth and the hell divers when i see stuff like this. Iv talked to so many people who don’t see ANY satire in helldivers. Not realizing that super earth is a fascist state using the lie of being a democracy to control everything.

Since functionally this is a indoctrinated soldier who full well believes the lie and is committing war crimes for a fascist military state.

So is this someone who thinks its actually democracy fighting against the enemy with out realizing the propaganda? Or is it someone who understands and is using the satire of hell divers to prove the point?

Either way i shall see my self to my nearest democracy officer for a optional refresher course in managed democracy.

Pretty sure this guy gets it. Thats the message. Helldivers 2 is the fiction where the fascism belongs.

Agreed, otherwise why wear this uniform with this statement. Real fascists have real uniforms for the real world.

A t-shirt and jeans. Like most of the fascists I’ve met. And most of the normal people I’ve met too. Facism doesn’t often wear a uniform. But when it does, it’s too late.

            I sometimes fear that
people think that fascism arrives in fancy dress
            worn by grotesques and monsters
as played out in endless re-runs of the Nazis.

            Fascism arrives as your friend.
            It will restore your honour,
            make you feel proud,
            protect your house,
            give you a job,
            clean up the neighbourhood,
remind you of how great you once were,
clear out the venal and the corrupt,
remove anything you feel is unlike you…

            It doesn’t walk in saying,
“Our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution.”

I was more referring to white ski masks, white robes, punisher shirts, and worst of all, a suit

Ah see, most fascists don’t wear those. Those ones are the ones where it’s too late. My point stands

May you never have to deal with the common fascist, only the comically evil ones.

I guarantee most people who saw that guy thought he was a Star Wars stormtrooper, but I guess the message still works anyway.
