My oven/stove died recently and I couldn’t convince my landlord to go induction since it’s like twice as expensive as traditional glass top.

freetariff.Ah that makes sense as to why there isn’t subsidies and programs for installing electric stoves. In Nanaimo new gas heating hookups are banned.
