Can I harvest wild yeast from decaying fruit to ferment alcohol and make my own lambics at home???
The white film on grapes is yeast. So you could even just throw some non-decaying grapes in mashed or whole to kick off the fermentation
Technically, probably? But home-brewing is a complex art.
It’s surprisingly simple to get acceptable results. Good results take more trial and error as well as research. Lambics are equal parts art and horrifying lab microbiologists.
