In the last decade plus, I’ve never had anyone show up when I was in an apartment complex and only a few people showed up when I was renting a room in a house.
Sometimes I see people stumbling home drunk in costumes from the bars/nightclubs/etc around here though…
Surely it’s not just an apartment thing? I would hit up every unit in the 3 apartment complexes in the small town I grew up in. You could get so much candy with so little effort!
And there’s HELLA kids who live here, too. If they are going trick or treating, they are being driven to begter neighborhoods, I guess, since this and the complex next door are the only residential things for about 2 miles. Which I am only just now realizing and that’s… Kinda weird?

I don’t know, but I’ve lived in four different apartment complexes in that time period and had no one show up for trick-or-treat. *shrug*
I have a bag of candy just in case, but I’m probably going to end up eating it by myself again, as usual…
