Labour would have to do a shit load of things to get me to vote for them. For example, stop supporting genocide and bending over backwards to protect Israel.

Billionaires, and soon trillionaires, have no place in the world when there are people being paid a meager amount and having to work 80 hours a week to JUST afford rent and food. Tax the ever living fuck out of billionaires.

Not just billionaires. I cannot imagine why would someone need multiple millions every year neither.

Labour doing something meaningful and stopping their attempt to cater to conservative immigration ideas would make young people vote Labour. A wealth tax would help too.

Seems unlikely, with a quick look at YouGov. 47% of 18-24 year olds thought immigration was generally a little or much too high, with 28% don’t know. This is by far the most favourable towards immigration of any age segment. But 57% think the rich are not being made to pay enough in tax - in line with the general population.

Billionaires don’t have a country, they’ve got everything from this one and aren’t building infrastructure like they used to when they were stuck in a residence. Why do we think we need to entice these fickle leaches? They’ll go once it’s all gone anyway

Critics, however, warn that a wealth tax could encourage tax avoidance

    Even worse than already is.

Worsening the regressiveness of the tax system, where the poor pay far far higher, deep into their cost of living.

“ok guys, we need some funny looking youth to interview to distract from what is otherwise totally implausible as an article”
