Lick and lightly nibble the lobes until you get just to the entrance of the ear canal, get it slightly wet and then take a slow, deep breath in.

Blowing out creates too much noise and cold to the wetness, but breathing in creates just the right amount of stimulation from the coolness of the wet without a lot of the extra annoyances of blowing into someone’s ear canal. I’ve made an art of it. 😁
