    I thought the whole point was to cool big servers - where does the heat go in space?

      It’s also in the article, which is actually a pretty good read. The short version is is very hard to make heat go anywhere, and you can only radiate it away, which is slow and inefficient compared to even basic air cooling.

      Let’s them funnel some of that made up ai bubble money into the space race.

      They have probably realised (or always knew) that ai wasn’t going to really make them the quadrillions they need to fill the hole in their soul.

      They’d much rather be first in line when the solar landgrab begins
