Why Obsidian? I used a fan their work before they got bought out by Microsoft, but these days their work doesn’t really appeal to me.
I am sure the games are good, but they are bit too action focused and lacking some of the raw energy and innovation that you see in indie CRPG titles.
He knows a lot of people at Obsidian and has worked with them for years, including on the first Outer Worlds. Makes as much sense as anything else.
