I really want a vertical mouse but decent ones are pretty expensive. Logitech seems to be the only company I can find that makes them.

They break super quickly for me. As in, the thin plastic of the buttons literally breaks off after a couple of years.

I’ve had shit experience with them too. Every mouse wheel has broken after about a year, and I had their old wireless mamba battery pack pillow on me. Their verticle mouse looks interesting but islts scary coming from them.

Keychron has one that’s configurable with a web launcher (so no bloatware) and I like their other mice, but I’ve never tried that one

Interesting. I’ve had a bad experience with their k6, they promised software but it never came. Functionally it’s been fine though so I’ll check out the mouse. Thanks!

Was that pre-QMK? They went open source for their keyboard firmware, so if that’s why they abandoned yours it’s shitty but at least you know it’ll never happen again now the community can support the hardware in the worst case

Yah, pre-qmk. I debated flashing qmk on its risky and you lose Bluetooth support. They said for years they would support the board then ditched it. Left a very sour taste in my mouth sadly.

Kensington has vertical models, and their peripherals are very reliable - I have an Expert Mouse Pro trackball that has outlasted 5 generations of other manufacturers’ mice/trackballs.

My perception skills are too poor to understand the joke, but I have never heard of a vertical mouse before so I am excited anyways. Thanks for sharing! Off to find a video to see how they work.
