As the title says: Do you know alternatives to Xbox and PlayStation Controllers? Optimally with Bluetooth and working with Linux.

So far, I wasn’t able to find some.

Nacon? They’re French I believe. I use 2 wired Nacon controllers and they work fine. I think they also have bluetooth-controllers in their assortiment but I dunno how they are.

The 8Bit Do Ultimate is awesome, has both bluetooth and 2.4GHz low latency support. Not 100% sure about their Linux support though.

Edit: they are from China though, not EU (but also not US :)

Works on linux if configured to put in the proper configuration on the button in the back.

I’ve tested it with the NSwitch, with android tv and linux pc.

8bitdo are very good indeed. Gulikit is a worthy challenger with their KK series or Zen pro controllers. Same Bluetooth and 2.4g, replacable switches with mechanical option, hall effect joysticks and triggers, and good customer support with available spare parts and firmware updates.

Thrustmaster used to be French and they have one that’s some kind of modular (Eswap) and only costs the same as three DualSenses. Since Sony is Japanese I’ll give them a pass.

I love my 8bitdo sn30 pro+. Plays like a snes, feels like a ds4 in the hands. Super responsive buttons, user replaceable rechargeable battery. Wired via usb-c or wireless via bluetooth.

I use it with my PC (linux), my android phone (steamlink) and my switch

Edit: a complaint about the sn30! The Bluetooth radio isn’t “loud” enough, I frequently end up with faraday cage situations because I have a pcie bluetooth card and the antenna is on the back of my htpc
