Do I need to explore every tile? I’ve got 2 foresight from scroll book, but the score is still not good.

When I want to increase my exploration score I run through all floors with foresight before getting the amulet. I usually do this when I’ve defeated the King because I usually give the crown to the rat king. On the way up I buy all map scrolls and turn them into foresight scrolls.

With a little speed you need only three scrolls to search every floor, leaving one scroll for the demon halls. Though I usually hope that I find enough map scrolls in demon halls that I don’t have to run through them with foresight.

How would that pairs with on diet? Maybe I need to craft some Aquatic Rejuvenation.

Regarding Demon Hall, maybe Feather Fall would help by skipping floors and do the exploration during ascension? I’m not sure though.

It* seems that succubi will refuse to drop SoMM when I need it, and will only drop SoMM when I already got four of them…

If your goal is to get a perfect score run then go for Warlock. Feed and heal yourself by hitting enemies. You can explore as much as you want to clear everything.

Exploration score is not based on tiles, to get full exploration score you a floor you have to:

    • see every item pile, open every container, use every key (except for containers that are impossible, e.g. 2nd crystal chest)
    • clear any magical fire or sacrificial fire
    • defeat every state/mimic (ally conversion counts)
    • clear every barricade, locked door (except extra crystal doors), and hidden door
