Helicopters are obsolete now because of drones haven’t you heard?

It is worth noting that the Lakota is the trainer helicopter for Apache pilots.

We‘ll se about the obsolescence if/when Ukraine gets the Australian Tigers.

Anyhow. I never understood Germanys purchase decision. Maybe they’ll consider or evaluate the Leonardo AW249 someday.

I don’t know if the Tigers are even worth taking unfortunately given the amount of substantial issues the helicopter has.

I had the same impression, especially since they are grounded like more than 50% of the time. But if anyone can make a use of them it is the Ukraine.

Just a reminder it’s just “Ukraine” not “the Ukraine”. The latter is how soviets referred to it and is a subtle denial of Ukraine’s sovereign borders.

Just a subtle reminder that we aren’t native speakers and still translating from our mother tounge. In my native language it would be normal to use article without any implications.
