    they’re a complete joke. more of the same shit as back in the 1800s when the british tried to justify their way of eating as being superior to the people they were colonizing, only now it’s white meathead influecers bulging with muscles they got from taking HGH that they won’t admit to saying our paleolithic ancestors ate mostly meat (they didn’t. our paleolithic ancestors ate meat ~1 time a week)

    this is all just more of the same rewriting of the past, ignoring science, and trying to plunge the future into a modern dark age

    Yeah, if it has a .gov top-domain at this point, I just treat it like a conspiracy theory website on the dark corners of the Internet.

    Also, has anyone gone to the website about the new guidelines? It’s a nightmare to try to navigate. It does that thing where it has flashy animated scrolling, so you can’t tell if there’s more, what’s coming next, where to find a specific piece of info…

    It feels like it was made by somebody’s nephew who knows how to code fancy JavaScript stuff but doesn’t know shit about good UX design.
