- All public transport now runs on schedule. I love schedules.
- It’s illegal to show up at someone’s door unnanounced. You must text first.
- No music in supermarkets. Also, ordering groceries to your address is now free.
- Instead of engaging in meaningless small talk, people ask what topic someone has been obsessed with lately.
- Ads are abandoned.
- Working from home is now default.
- Restaurants carry common “Safe food” menus, and silent seating options.
- Social capital is no longer about how much you earn, and what kind of success you have, but about knowledge of obscure movie references.
- What’s on TV? Oh, it’s your comfort show on rerun again!
- People of support level 2 and higher will be granted magical powers to compensate for their difficulties. Not sure how I’ll implement this in practice but I’ll damn sure give it a shot.
I don’t want a schedle, I want public transit so frequent I don’t need to check the schedule - I just go. In low demand ares I’ll allow a schedule, but never more than half an hour between stops - 24x7x365 - you don’t get holidays.
In those cases having a “Line 14 - 5m” sign is the way to go
Why waste the money on a sign - everyone knows it will be there soon so they don’t need a sign. If you want to know check your phone.
It’s better for tourists and first time users that don’t know the frequency. Maintenance and accidents also could delay a tram and bus. Holiday schedule with reduced frequency is not noticeable until you check the app. You could also use it to check alternatives and whether you should maybe skip this one because it looks super full. There’s also the effect of showing the progress which makes the wait feel shorter.
It’s not strictly necessary and people can use their phone but it’s not nearly as convenient as a quick glance.
i said you don’t get to reduce serviceeon holidays. People want to go on holidays too and bad serviceiis anouther reason to get a car.
