A reminder that everytime you get upset at Trump & Musk that you should also be upset with the Democrats that got us here.
The whole āhe didnāt really sign all those executive ordersā thing is also a really bad look. Especially when you consider that his resignation from the 2024 presidential run signature looked different from all the signatures on his many pardons and executive orders that he allegedly rushed out in the final days of his presidency.
Combine that with the interviews where people ask him why he signed executive orders for things and he responded with āI never signed anything like thatā.
It really really looks like the Democrats were playing weekend at Bidens for at least the final months of his presidency, but probably longer.
Edit: added a word I had somehow missed.

Might be time to diversify your news feed!
Cool to bring in an un authorized source of knowledge! Fox News was first then Newsmax was interestingā¦.
Iād take Biden with senility over Trump with Musk. Iād take Nixon.
Except you canāt cause he helped Trump get elected.
He did? Did he forget to teach Americans how first past the post voting works?
I can see why you want to distract form the dumpster fire that is the cyber truck and tariffs right now, but come on. Biden is old news. The next bit is from yesterdayās try.
Right now, it goes like this:
- Republicans and/or Trump do something fucking crazy thatās not only never been done before, but probably illegal.
- Everyone shouts frantically, āWhY areNāT tHe DeMS doINg ANyThiNG!ā while saying in a rational, quiet, tone, āThatās just how Republicans are.ā
- Repeat
We got trump because people ignored history, and your suggestion is that we ignore more history?
No. Everyone should be accountable not just who you donāt like. Everyone.
itās not really ādistractingā to take a step back and examine how we got here.
unless of course youād rather not learn from mistakes

Wow, Iām keeping this one in my vault of funny. Yes, letās look at the guy who isnāt president right now to see why in a month from taking over, the current president is doing an inside coup.
Looking at the context of trump getting into office is part of how we address this. Itās still fairly likely that thereās gonna be an election in 2028 ā going in with an understanding of what went wrong in 2024 only benefits us.
This attitude that we can only talk about immediate day to day events, that talking about strategy and constructively criticizing where Democrats fall short in responding to the Republicans ā that only hurts us, dooms us to the same mistakes weāve already made. It helps Trump and his cronies.
So you agree with me about the inside coup part, cool. Iām glad we are making headway on that part. How about we focus on putting out the fire of the inside coup part before we look forward to 4 years in the future? When someone takes over and dismantles your entire democracy, thatās usually a priority.
edit: Last comment.
Alright then. Iād like to see democrats be as obstinate to trumpās policies as weāve seen Republicans be when Dems are in office. If democrats are serious about this, they need to pull support and funding from party members who canāt toe the line, like Senator Fetterman who broke with the party to pass the Republicanās budget.
First, the book isnāt even out yet so no it isnāt old news. It is supposed to be released in May. Now in terms of distracting, what am I distracting you from? Do you intend to just scream āTrump badā for 4 years then when elections come around make that your campaign? How about figuring out why you lost in 2016 & 2024.
How are the tariffs working out right now? You feeling good about your guy?
Imagine being a rabid Democrat. All my reasonable homies hold their nose while voting blue
Lol, Trump isnāt my guy. I voted third party. The more you talk though the more Iām inclined to believe youāre part of the pro-genocide crowd that helped Trump get elected. If youāre concerned about my financial situation though no need to worry. Iām still doing fine. House prices have actually dropped a little which is good for me since Iām looking to buy.
Oh yes, the third party Iāve heard so much about that was going to save us. Howās that going?
Iām glad that youāre seeing the economy crash as we head into a recession as a great thing for you. Youāre not worried about the genocide or trump taking over Gaza and making it a resort? You obviously care deeply about the genocide. This is my last comment to you, have a great day picking out a home.
ETA: In case he changes it.

Why would I change it? What did I say that bothers you so much?
You failed to agree completely with their vitriolic hatred.
He made the right decision to drop out and let someone younger take the mantle. Canāt say the same for Republicans.
except he didnāt. it only happened because the party pressured him to after an abysmal debate performance in August. If he really wanted that, he would have said as much at the beginning of the year rather than campaign.
At least they owned up to their mistake. Republicans donāt fucking care.
His campaign & Democrats lied about his cognitive decline & ran cover for him, which gave people reason to trust Republicans who had been saying it. By the time he dropped out he had already done significant damage to the party. Sure you can be thankful he dropped out, but he still helped Trump win.
