Awwww yeah, more Americans pretending to do something! Been hearing about 2a for my entire life, the Brown Shirts are on the street disappearing people, and here’s a toothless protest for everyone to feel good about. I’m sure it will change everything!
Turns out 2a is just an excuse to enable school shootings and gun nuts to keep their toys. Any other rationale is a lie. Brown Shirts terorrizing the streets proves that.
This isn’t a protest, it’s a state-wide general strike, and it’ll be the first one to happen in the US in 80 years. Labor power has been diminished and defanged here for decades, but people are relearning how to fight. It’ll likely please you that the Black Panthers have reformed, armed themselves, and are guarding protestors and community members in some areas as well (which is what the 2nd amendment is actually supposed to be for; local militias).

While I am a newer account, it’s only because I am new to Lemmy. I’m sick and tired of watching spineless Americans do shit all day after day, year after year when this has been going on since 2016. In fact, you losers voted the clownshow BACK IN after 1,000 aggressions to every walk of life on the planet. And to top it off, the rest of the planet is significantly affected by this. You can’t even keep your own lunatic to your own circus.

Want to know what will actually happen? There will be a nice protest, maybe a whole 1%-2% of the population, and then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE. AT ANY POINT. There are Brown Shirts in the streets right now and this is the best you’ve got.
