  • Dunno but we shall hunt them down and destroy th…ok ok we won’t destroy them then. But no it wasn’t me.

Also. Mate we all should get bloods done every year. A workmate put me onto that about 12 years ago. He books in for every Melbourne cup day ( so he remembers )

That way they can see if any levels are changing which could indicate a problem. The big one is that if certain things or thing changes it might be due to cancer. Then they can look into things early.

We take our health for granted, especially when young and healthy. It sometimes doesn’t take much for things to go pearshaped.

    Get yah bloods done mate.

  • Back to work after two days off sick again. Dunno what this thing is but it’s hard to shake. Booked in for blood tests. I have recently started seeing a different doc due to the other one leaving. I’m booked in for blood tests. She said it’s fasting don’t forget. I checked how many hours I need to fast for because it’s impossible to get to my local place in a morning on a weekday. She reminded me that it’s 8 hours so I said great I’ll eat at 7 am and go on my way home. She said no in the morning. I explained that if I eat at 7 then 8 hours after that will be 3 pm. She looked amazed.

I actually got caught out a few years ago and learnt the hard way that you can fast for too long. I got to the place at about 10 am by which point too many hours had passed. The docs don’t tell you that. On my last one last year it stated on the script or referral that it was “non fasting”. I phoned up the place to check on that and of course it was fasting. I mean these are the people we trust our health and therefore lives with. It’s a worry at times.

Anyway whenever I have had bloods in the past they never seem to find anything that might be causing my illness, doesn’t hurt to get checked out on occasion though.

Oh and thanks to TRK’s rec I watched “Heads of State” and can confirm that it’s a very jolly romp. Most enjoyable. Not too cheesy and lots of action.

    Cheers.

  • Wait a minute you’re not “up early” you were awake late. Bloody cheater…

Lol. Well I stayed in bed till about 8 am. I mean I kept waking up but still it was nice to slumber in the warmth.

But now I’m up, cooking pork chop and eggs. I have some tidying to do, and oh just remembered the laundry.

I started watching “Nightmare Alley” last night but didn’t even make it to halfway before sleep became imperative. Finishing it now.

    Moustache…

  • Mornin’. I find it humorous that often the people that live closest to work are often the ones that are consistently late. In this case he’s also the youngest by decades.

And how diverse is the price of petrol right now. From $1.55 to $2.17 for E10. Bloody strange. I have the 7/11 app of course, but depending where I go I can still get it cheaper from some other supplier. ( Damn them for capping it at 25 cents max off )

And aaaah tis Friday. Ok, enjoy your days. X

    Edit.

Also thank goodness that damn wind has died down. Anyway I wrote that first part that included the thing about one of our boys often being late at about 5:45 am. It’s now 6:30 and he’s running late, not here yet. Lol.

Second Edit. He turned up at 6:40. Jeepers.

Adding a small detail. We start at 6.
